Bipolar Disorder founder The Chronics serves up the labelâs sixth vinyl instalment âCosmic Delightâ, accompanied by remixes from ChlaÌr and Blue Hour.
Crafting his own sound since making his debut back in 2018, Geneva-based DJ, producer, and label owner The Chronics is stepping things up as he showcases his take on techno. Founder of Bipolar Disorder records, his productions have since been picked up by the likes of RAW and Vitusâ Case, merging pacy breakbeat nuances with more traditional influences to deliver ever-changing and unpredictable journeys. Up next, he returns on home turf to the labelâs vinyl-focused series, offering two powerful originals across âCosmic Delightâ, backed by dynamic remixes courtesy of label co-owner ChlaÌr and British techno mainstay Blue Hour.
Fusing trippy synths with pacy drums and swirling leads, âKeroseneâ welcomes a driving and punchy cut crafted for the peak time, before handing over to partner-in-crime ChlaÌr as he launches into a tunnelling groove guided by slick, hypnotic percussion patterns. B1 âCosmic Delightâ welcomes the second original and title track of the EP as the Swiss talent draws for raw, crunchy analog bass coupled with skittering kicks and anthemic stabs, an element Blue Hour builds on as he shapes a high-octane ride through epic soundscapes across his classy remix to close the package.
